Memory 1 Troll Bridge
[ A woman with curly red hair is under a stone bridge investigating a dead male body. She's freely walking through the water while Ivy stands on the side with one hand on her hip. ]
Get out of the water and wait for the homicide unit!
[ The red head shakes her head and replies: ] Are you just a good little cog in the vampire feeding machine? This is our chance to prove ourselves.
[ Ivy's eyes narrow and she narrows her eyes at the other woman. ] I don't have to prove myself. Stop touching the body.
[ The woman stands her ground. ] Make me, Ivy.
[ And Ivy does just that. In a single fluid move she grabs the woman's arm and tosses her into the air, over the walls that lead down into the river and back up to where their cars were parked. She waves to her as she goes flying. The woman shouts back: ] Think that's funny, do you?
[ Ivy's tone betrays her relief at finally getting that out of her system. ] Yes, I actually do.
[ The woman comes storming back town to the river: ] Don't you ever touch me again. [ Ivy ignores that command and instead grips her arm tightly in anger. In the background a giant bridge troll nervously watches the altercation. ]
This isn't our run, it's someone's mistake. [ Ivy says firmly as the woman gets even more angry. ]
Are you blind, Ivy? He was bled dry. You're afraid! I don't know about you, but I joined the IS to help people. I heard you were good. Seems what you're good at is staying out of trouble.
[ Ivy grips her tighter as her anger boils up. ] You need to learn your place, witch. [ The witch tries to wrestle herself free of Ivy's grasp and shouts: ] Let go of me, Ivy, or I'll knock you flat on your ass. [ And since Ivy didn't let go, she did exactly that. A swirl of green magic forms around her and pushes Ivy down into the water.
Everything is wet. Her hair, her clothes, everything. The troll finally speaks up: ] Ms. vampire lady, you're all wet.
[ And to that Rachel just says: ] You're right, this is funny.
